Committees

The MDCB maintains several standing committees whose members are content experts in the field of medical dosimetry.

Bylaws and Ethics Committee

Refines and updates MDCB bylaws and attends to ethical issues as outlined in the Ethical Standards of the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board.

Eligibility Committee

Reviews credentials and determines if applicants have met eligibility criteria.

Finance Committee

Oversight committee that assists the treasurer in financial matters.

Leadership Development Committee

Oversees board candidate recruitment efforts and the board nominations process and makes recommendations for qualified candidates to the board for vote.

Maintenance of Certification Committee

Implements the MDCB policies governing the mechanism for Certified Medical Dosimetrists to demonstrate continuing knowledge and skills. Assigns credits to sponsor-produced educational offerings and updates and refines the credit valuation criteria.

Test Development Committee 

Refines test items submitted by item writers and performs content reviews on the test.
