Decreasing Risk in Whole Pelvic Radiation Therapy

Prostate cancer is one of the most common malignancies treated in the Radiation Oncology department. For individuals whose prognosis requires treatment of local lymph nodes, there is a greater risk of side effects than those undergoing prostate-only treatment. This research sought to limit these side effects by comparing and providing suggestions for improving plan quality indices. Read the full study here.
