A lung SBRT treatment planning technique to focus high dose on gross disease

This study introduces a novel planning technique for lung stereotactic body radiation therapy within the Eclipse treatment planning system, called the "dynamic NTO". By selectively penalizing normal tissue objective, this method allows for hotspot escalation in gross disease, potentially enhancing local control.
