Supporting documentation?
Candidates requesting accommodations protected by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA) must provide appropriate documentation of the disability and demonstrate how it is expected to impact ability to take the exam under standard testing conditions. A detailed letter or written report from the evaluator must meet general criteria:
- Evaluator must have credentials to conduct evaluation.
- Report must:
- be submitted on evaluator’s letterhead and identify credential.
- include recent evaluation, relevant history of condition and impact on functioning and specific diagnosis.
- Identify specific recommendations for testing accommodations.
